people should be:

great but humble
virtuous but not righteous
deeply spiritual but not preachy
strong but with the ablility to be vulnerable
approachable not suspicious
curious not ignorant
kind but not through pity
confident but without pride
independent but not dog-eat-dog
understanding not bitter

there are so many fine lines between what is good and what is destructive.
