well i learned one very important thing in photo class a few days ago: photography can never be objective therfor all photography is a "lie" ....well maybe not a lie.....but it's just not telling the whole story.

That reminds me of this cute little fragment of novel i was reading this weekend. Patrick Chamixau (spelled wrong, sorry)'s Texaco:

In what I tell you, there’s the almost true, the sometimes true, and the half true. That’s what telling a life is like, braiding all of that like one plaits the white Indies currant’s hair to make a hut. And the true-true comes out of the braid. And Sophie, you can’t be scared of lying if you want to know everything.

I like that. braided just like a rag rug.
